Ueda Hōsei

Born 1924 in Osaka, the second son of Ueda Hōdō. Studied with his father from 1942. Studied with his brother Kadō from 1949. Received the name Hōsei in 1963. Upon his brother's passing in 2004, became iemoto of Ueda-ryū.
