In March of 1925, he finished the Chuden repertoire.
By October of 1926, he had done the Okuden pieces.
He graduated from Waseda in 1927 and, at his father’s urgung, he went back to his hometown to follow in his father's footsteps, serving as an executive of local associations, a member of the village assembly, and in other public positions.
In November 1928, he completed his studies and passed his official examination for his Jun-shihan (associate instructor) license in December in Fukuoka.
Following this he engaged in teaching and spreading the Tozan style in his hometown while devoting himself to many public and private projects.
