Shamisen

Born in Tokyo in 1983 as the eldest son of Tomiyama Seikin II.
He studied Ikuta-ryū koto and shamisen under his father and made his stage debut in 1988.
Performed in Geneva, Switzerland and Krakow, Poland in 2005.
In 2006, he appeared in "Geino Hanabutai", and in 2009, he appeared in a performance organized by the National Theatre of Japan.
Since then, he has continued to perform on stages in Japan and abroad, as well as on TV and radio.
In 2016, he held his first solo recital. Since that year, he has been a part-time lecturer at Ochanomizu University.
