This is a Jiuta piece in the Nagauta style from the Maybe Ikuta Ryű school . This piece was composed for shamisen by Kishino Jirosa in cir. 1700 .

History (from Tomiyama Kiyotaka)
Fox Fire

The second part (perhaps composed first) is based upon a popular musico-poetic form, nage-busi, and deals with fox fire as a metaphor for love. The first part sounds more like an authentic jiuta piece. Its text depicts the sadness of separation.
