Shakuhachi

Born August 1, 1911, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Yokoyama Ranpo (birth name Shinpo)studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under his father, Yokoyama Kōson, and later, Fukuda Randō.
He was the former chairman of the Shizuoka Prefecture Sankyoku Federation, head of the Shimizu City Sankyoku Association, and director of the Shizuoka Prefectural Cultural Association.
He was the father of Yokoyama Katsuya.
