Suzuki Reirin (Suzuki Gorō) was born May 2, 1904 in Nagano City. With a career extending over more than 40 years, he studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Aoki Reibo I and Jin Nyodō, began teaching in 1926, and was a member of the Reibo-kai.
