Hino Reishō (Hino Hiroshi) was born October 1, 1927 in Hokkaido. He studied Kinko-ryū shakuhachi under Emori Reihō and began teaching in 1957. He was a director of the Reibo-kai Hokkaido branch, a director of the Dōkinko-kai, a director of the Takikawa City Sankyoku Association, and a director of the Takikawa City Cultural Association.
