Ms Hiroe Yonekawa is one of the talented artist be in active because of her stable ability of performance. From childhood, she took the basic of traditional Japanese classic music in the ideal environment such as being able to take the lesson from her mother Toshiko Yonekawa, "Living National Treasure", the Ikuta style "Sokyoku" and "Jiuta sangen (a kind of Shamisen music). After that, she studied the basic compositional method from Akihiro Norimatu. Furthermore she participated in the overseas performances. She expands her artificial territories.
Recent years, she has been in active both holding her own recitals and taking part of the group "New Wave", the group of thinking Japanese culture "Tokiza" as a member. She gains the public attention because of her activities beyond the flame of "Soukyoku".
Thus, adding to the stable performances of traditional Japanese classic music, she is in wide range of activities in the modern Japanese traditional music and the exchange of other field of arts.
Took the lesson of "Soukyoku", "Jiuta sangen" from her mother Toshiko Yonekawa (Living National Treasure) in childhood.
1973 - Completed the 18th NHK hougaku Training Program.
1977 - From this time, she has journeyed for overseas performances in Korea, France, Italy, and other nations.
1986 - Held the joint recital of Megumi Yonekawa and Hiroe Yonekawa" (Held this recital 7th times till 1992.)
1989 - Played in the former Soviet Union sent by the Japan Foundation.
1992 - Played in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland sent by the Japan Foundation.
1994 - Played in Swiss, Austria, Poland and Belgium sent by the Japan Foundation.
1995 - Awarded the minister of Education's award for up and coming performers. Played in Hungary and Poland.
1996 - Awarded the Arts Festival Superior Prize from the Agency of Cultural Affairs.
1997 - Held the "'97 Hiroe Yonekawa "Sou" and "Sangen" recital
