
1953 Born in Tokyo. Studied flute under Ririko Hayashi Graduated from Toho Gakuen Music School
1975 Joined Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra as a principal flute player
1976 Won third prize in the First Australlian International Flute Competition
1978 Had recitals in Tokyo and Osaka
1980 Joined ProMusica Nipponia as a Japanese traditional flute player. Played an active part in both Western and Japanese music afterleaving Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra
1994 Established Nishikawa Music Production U.S.A. Inc., in New York as a base of international operation
1996 Currently producing the CD series "Flutist from the East" in Canada and Japan.
