Kurahashi Yodo

Born in Kyoto, he began Kinko-Ryu shakuhachi studies with Shodo Ueda. For 10 years before and during World War II, he lived in China. After the war he returned to Japan and began studying honkyoku with Jin Nyodo. In 1973 he established the Muju An dojo. He was a director of the Nyodo-kai, Meian-ji Association and the Kyoto City Cultural Society.
